Trentham Electrical and Solar – Trentham VIC

You will take ownership of jobs on the ground, lead the field team and support the day to day running of installation and service work. This is a genuine leadership role for someone who wants to run the crew, not just the job in front of them. You'll work across solar, battery, general electrical, refrigeration and HVAC, from new installs through to service calls and tracking down faults others couldn't find.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the field team day to day, allocating work and keeping jobs on track
- Run residential and light commercial jobs independently from start to finish
- Fault finding and diagnostics across electrical, solar, battery, refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Supervise and mentor apprentices and electricians on site
- Ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 and the relevant standards for your stream
- Maintain high workmanship, safety and documentation standards
- Be a point of contact for customers on site

About you

- Grade A Electrical Licence (VIC)
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Proven leadership experience,



or ready to step up into it
- Current driver's licence
- Solar & Battery stream: SAA accreditation (install, with battery endorsement preferred), proven solar and battery installation experience (AC and/or DC coupled, hybrid and backup), solid understanding of AS/NZS 4777, 5033, 5139 and grid connection requirements
- HVAC & Refrigeration stream: ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence, proven experience installing and servicing split systems, ducted systems and/or commercial refrigeration, confident diagnosing refrigeration and control faults
- Strong experience in at least one of these streams
