With multiple businesses, products and legal entities across the Group, finance plays a critical role in providing strong governance, reporting and technical leadership. The business is continuing to evolve, creating an chance for an experienced reporting leader to make their mark.

Role.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will take ownership of external financial and sustainability reporting across the Group, including consolidation, half year and full year reporting, audit and technical accounting.

This is much broader than producing a set of accounts. You will be the technical accounting lead across the business, partnering with senior finance leaders, Treasury and divisional teams on complex transactions, acquisitions, divestments, impairment and new accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities.

- Lead half year and full year statutory reporting and consolidation
- Own technical accounting advice, policies and accounting papers
- Lead impairment modelling, controls and complex accounting matters
- Partner on acquisitions, divestments and major transactions
- Manage the external audit process and key adviser relationships




- Lead mandatory climate and sustainability reporting requirements
- Drive reporting automation, systems and process improvement

About You.

- CA or CPA qualified with deep financial reporting experience
- Strong ASX financial reporting background, with previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience working within PE-owned, highly leveraged or transformation-driven organisations.
- Demonstrated experience with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) or international equivalents, including ISSB, TCFD and GRI.
- Experience establishing or implementing climate reporting governance, data quality controls and ESG assurance processes.
- Strong ability to interpret climate-related financial effects, including impacts on cash flows, impairment and provisions.
- Proven experience leading statutory reporting across multi-country / multi-currency groups.
- Exposure to carve-outs, integrations and complex restructures.
- Strong technical accounting capability, with sound knowledge of Accounting Standards, ASX and ASIC reporting requirements.
