At Aeralife, we're looking for an engaging and driven Lifestyle Coordinator to lead our Lifestyle Team and deliver creative, person-centred programs that support resident wellbeing, independence and quality of life.

The Opportunity

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of person-centred leisure, lifestyle and wellbeing programs while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Lifestyle Department. This full-time leadership role is responsible for ensuring residents receive engaging, meaningful and enriching experiences that support their physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

Reporting to the Residence Manager, you will work closely with residents, families, volunteers and the broader care team to create meaningful experiences that promote engagement, independence and connection, while ensuring services align with contemporary aged care practice and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

- Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs tailored to resident needs, goals and preferences
- Develop and deliver dementia-specific programs that support engagement and behaviour management
- Promote resident independence, social connection and meaningful participation within the home and broader community
- Ensure individual interests, customs, beliefs, cultural backgrounds and cultural safety are respected and maintained
- Support the recruitment, training and engagement of volunteers
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families and team members to enhance quality of life outcomes
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations, rostering and performance of the Lifestyle Team to ensure consistent program delivery and resident engagement
- Support workforce planning and contribute to recruitment, onboarding and development of Lifestyle Team members
- Participate in operational, professional and cross-functional meetings and initiatives
- Monitor and maintain compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements




- Complete lifestyle reporting and key performance indicators in collaboration with the Residence Manager
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to Lifestyle Team members to ensure high-quality program delivery

About You

You are a passionate and innovative lifestyle leader who thrives on creating meaningful experiences and making a genuine difference in the lives of older people. You enjoy leading and developing teams, driving continuous improvement and creating programs that foster purpose, connection and wellbeing for every resident. You bring strong leadership skills, a person-centred approach and a commitment to delivering exceptional resident outcomes.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Demonstrated experience in Residential Aged Care, ideally in a lifestyle or leisure and health leadership role
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Strong understanding of person-centred care principles and contemporary lifestyle practices
- Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring or coordinating a Lifestyle, Leisure & Health or Activities Team
- Experience supporting residents living with dementia
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Computer literacy and reporting capabilities
- A genuine commitment to resident wellbeing and quality of life
