Remuneration: Stream A, Level 5: $126,677.62. - $131,110.92 per annum inclusive of superannuation & allowances

Central Highlands Regional Council is currently recruiting for a Road Construction Inspector to join the infrastructure team.

The Road Construction Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and reporting on road construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, standards, quality
requirements, safety obligations and contractual requirements.

This role works a 9/5 roster and the successful applicant will be required to camp.

To be considered for this chance, you will need to possess:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Construction Management.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Contract Administration.
- Knowledge of road construction plant and equipment operations, specifications, and limitations.
- Knowledge of Austroads and TMR standards.
- Minimum of Queensland C class provisional driver's licence.
- General Construction Induction (White card).
- Traffic Management Implementation (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to working autonomously and within a diverse technical team environment.
