Bush Heritage Australia's Seeding the Future team is recruiting to fill a fantastic opportunity to work with our Supporter Care Team as an Intern.

- Annual base salary of $61,042 inclusive of superannuation. Pro rata salary for the internship period is $15,260.50 inclusive of superannuation.

- Part-time (3 days per week) over a period of 22 weeks, starting on 26th October

About the role

Bush Heritage’s 2030 Strategy is to improve biodiversity protection, function and connectivity across landscapes. Our Supporters play a central role, and this internship will work with the Supporter Care Team to ensure that they have an exemplary first point of contact into our organisation.
The Supporter Care Intern will learn to build strong relationships with Bush Heritage supporters by providing excellent service and accurate and timely data entry.



The key outcome of this internship will be to develop a cross-section of business administration skills, building a solid understanding of the conservation and not-for-profit sectors.

What you'll need to succeed

- You are a recent graduate or early career conservation professional who is passionate about nature conservation and protecting Australia's biodiversity, aligned with the values and objectives of Bush Heritage, and eager to build practical experience across conservation science programs.
- Previous customer service experience.
- High level of computer and data management skills with good attention to detail.
- You are organised and a strong communicator (both written and verbal – including phone) with the ability to build positive relationships with people from a range of backgrounds, including stakeholders, volunteers and colleagues.
- A desire to learn, develop new skills, collaborate, and be cutting-edge
- A commitment and passion for nature conservation and the objectives and values of Bush Heritage.
- Good level of emotional competence with excellent interpersonal skills, and capable of working effectively with a diverse range of people (staff, volunteers and our supporters)
