Transport Coordinator / Loadout Planner – Meat Export

Keep premium Australian beef moving to the world. A well-established meat processor exporting to markets across the globe is looking for a switched-on coordinator to take ownership of transport and loadouts.

The role
You'll be the link between the plant and its customers, organising how product leaves the site and where it's going. It's around 90% coordination and 10% planning. You'll work alongside the planning team, but this is a stand-alone seat, so you'll have real ownership of your day. The planning side is looking ahead and working out how much stock is needed days to weeks in advance, so nothing gets caught short.

You'll start on the PM shift to learn the operation from the ground up, then move across to the AM shift once you're settled.

What you'll be doing

- Coordinating transport and loadouts for export and domestic product
- Organising where product is heading and making sure it gets there on time
- Working with the planning team to forward plan stock requirements
- Liaising with carriers, shipping contacts and internal teams




- Learning the export container and shipping process, including EMTCs

About you

- A background in transport coordination, logistics or loadout planning
- Meat industry experience strongly preferred. Knowing the product makes the pace much easier to handle
- Able to think ahead and plan stock needs in advance
- Calm, organised and effective under pressure
- Strong communicator and a genuine team player
- Knowledge of Brisbane areas and interstate routes is a plus
- Understanding of export EMTCs is a plus, but a willingness to learn the export container and shipping process is what matters

Hours

- Monday to Friday plus some Saturdays
- AM shift starts at 4am (3am on Mondays) and finishes around 2pm
- Some overtime required
- Initial training period on the PM shift
