Morson Edge Recruitment is partnering with a close-knit fire protection team seeking an experienced Fire Pump Technician to service, maintain, repair, and test diesel and electric pump sets across Sydney sites - This role is ideal for someone with industry experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This is a hands-on, field-based role working across schools, strata, and commercial sites, reporting directly to the Service Manager whilst working autonomously. This is a rare chance for the right person to step in and play a key role in growing and shaping the wet fire services division of the business.

Role Responsibilities:

- Service, repair, and maintenance of electric and diesel fire pumps
- Carry out sprinkler and hydrant flow testing
- Monthly and annual testing programs
- Fault finding,



repairs, and overhauls
- Oil, valve, and filter changes
- General wet system works (minor works as required)
- 5-yearly pump set servicing
- 5-yearly overhauls of landing valves and sprinkler alarm valves

About you:

- Sprinkler Fitter qualification or Plumbing Licence
- Experience in the fire protection industry is essential, with strong hands-on experience working with fire pumps also required.
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of work
- Strong problem-solving and technical ability
- Experience in a field service role highly regarded
- Reliable, trustworthy, and willing to grow with the business
