The role

The Senior Control Systems Engineer is responsible for leading a team of engineers who are responsible for working closely with the operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure that automation systems are aligned with site requirements. Your responsibilities will include identifying, planning and executing improvement projects, providing technical expertise and support to the maintenance, production and engineering teams, leading a team of engineers and allocating resources, ensuring compliance with site, industry and Australian standards, conducting performance evaluations, maintaining the safety,



security and integrity of process control systems from physical & cyber intrusion, supporting reliability engineering and asset management best practice and facilitating the addition, removal and changes to control systems.

Selection Criteria

This role will suit a qualified engineer with excellent leadership skills able to plan and execute projects. Tertiary qualified in either electrical, electronics, instrumentation or mechatronics engineering you will need to have a thorough understanding of Yokogawa Centum DCS, Rockwell PLCs, Industrial Communication Networks, OSISoft PI Plant Historian and have advanced skills in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook. SAP). Your background in mining or in heavy industry will see you thrive.
