The role:
Our client has a number of large capital project that require a Senior Environmental Specialist to lead the delivery of environmental approvals for our client's key projects. This includes an Ammonia Expansion Project, and Ammonium Nitrate de-bottling project and other key growth projects. Your duties include co-ordinating approvals, leading consultant development, providing technical contribution, leading and co-ordinating internal reviews, managing regulatory engagement,
working closely with the maor capital projects team and the operations team and providing guidance and technical input into the development of supporting studies for projects; and identifying and managing environmental approvals risks and providing strategic advice.
Selection Criteria:
To be successful, you will be tertiary qualified in environmental science, environmental management, natural resource management or a related degree and have solid knowledge of the Western Australian Environmental Protection Act and experience in managing complex environmental approvals (Part IV and Part V). Your demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, develop positive relationships and collaborate with other will see you secure this role.
