About Us:

Role Overview:

We’re seeking HSE Advisors for immediate start on multiple civil, mining and construction sites (2:1, 2:2 or 8:6 rosters). These short‑term assignments include shutdowns and maintenance works, with solid potential to extend into longer‑term contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily inspections and audits across excavation, bulk earthworks, concrete works and mobile‑plant operations; identify hazards and enforce site‑specific safety controls.
- Lead Job Safety Analyses (JSA/JHA) for high‑risk activities—such as trenching, materials handling and traffic management—and ensure critical controls are in place and effective.
- Review, issue and close out permits for hot works, confined space entry, live‑traffic and other high‑risk tasks; liaise with supervisors to sequence work safely.
- Conduct root‑cause analyses of incidents and near‑misses, prepare compliant investigation reports and drive corrective/preventive actions with site teams.
- Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions and refresher sessions on topics such as ground stability,



fall‑protection and environmental controls; confirm competency and maintain training records.
- Support development, review and testing of site emergency response plans; coordinate drills for spill response, fire and rescue with control room and emergency teams.
- Oversee basic dust, noise and erosion controls; monitor waste segregation and spill containment to protect surrounding land and waterways.
- Collate HSE metrics—including inspection outcomes, incident trends and corrective‑action status—and present concise dashboards and reports to operations and leadership.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ HSE advisory or supervisory experience on civil, mining or construction sites.
- Competent in JSA/JHA facilitation, permit‑to‑work processes and incident investigation.
- Practical understanding of regulatory requirements (OHS Act WA, Mines Safety & Inspection Act).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence front‑line crews and management.
- Current Australian driver’s licence; ability to obtain site tickets (confined space, working at heights).
