Your new role:

As Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide advanced clinical and operational leadership for the Southern Moreton Bay Islands (SMBI) Community Partnership Service. You will lead the delivery of safe, contemporary community nursing care while overseeing workforce, financial and material resources, quality and risk, education, service improvement and clinical governance. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders, you will help ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, while supporting positive outcomes for the community.

About you:

You are an experienced and inspiring nurse leader with advanced community nursing expertise and a passion for delivering innovative, person-centred care across the community.

- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in community nursing, hospital avoidance and substitution.
- Proven ability to lead, engage and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams and foster a positive practice culture.
- Strong capability in clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management and evidence-informed practice.
- Experience managing workforce, rostering, financial and material resources to achieve service outcomes and performance targets.
- Highly developed communication, consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with patients, families and key stakeholders.
