A temporary full-time opportunity to contribute to the planning, coordination and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across a large and dynamic healthcare environment.

About the role

As a Senior Project Officer, you will support the delivery of capital infrastructure projects from planning through to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, you will assist in coordinating project activities, managing project documentation and reporting, supporting procurement processes, monitoring project budgets, and facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Assist Projects Managers and Senior Project Managers in the planning, implementation and development of all activities related to capital projects and associated works to ensure project delivery within required scope, quality, time and cost.
- Ensure identified projects operate in accordance with the MNH Infrastructure Project Management Framework.
- Provide a liaison function with the relevant Working Groups, User Groups and Project Control Groups to support the design, building and commissioning activities
- Provide advice in relation to project planning,



consultancy, infrastructure and services, construction programs and procurement strategies.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate reporting to the Project Manager/Project Lead on key deliverables, timelines and financial status of active projects.
