About the roles

Service Technician

As a service technician your role will be focussed on:

· Conduct regular inspections, testing and maintenance of all fire equipment

· Conduct repairs and fault finding to all fire equipment

· Undertake inspection, testing and repairs to electrical equipment

· Respond to emergency callouts and diagnose faults in a timely manner

· Liaise with clients to understand their fire safety requirements and provide expert advice

· Maintain detailed records of all work completed and ensure compliance with relevant regulations / Australian Standards

· Provide on-call services (approx. 1 week per month) to ensure emergency breakdowns are attended to

· Assist with training/mentoring other technicians

What we're looking for

· Proven experience as a fire technician or similar role in the fire protection industry

· Solid technical knowledge of fire equipment and Australian Standards

· Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent communication and customer service skills





· Current manual driver's licence

Trainee Service Technician

As a trainee service technician your role will be focussed on:

· Conducting regular inspections, testing and maintenance of fire equipment following an extensive period of training

· Undertake inspection, testing and repairs to electrical equipment

· Working closely with other technicians in a small team environment

· Assist with service delivery by sourcing stock / testing equipment

· Maintain detailed records of all work completed and ensure compliance with relevant regulations / Australian Standards

· Provide on-call services (approx. 1 week per month) to ensure emergency breakdowns are attended to

· High attention to detail and time management skills

· Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Excellent customer service skills

· Current driver's licence
