About the role

Based at the Shepparton office on Recent Dookie Rd, you'll deliver projects across northern Victoria — water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, civil works, buildings and urban infrastructure — working with regional water authorities, councils and private clients. You'll be doing the actual work of project delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Running your own projects — scope, schedule, budget, risk and reporting, from planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover

- Managing design consultants — coordinating multidisciplinary teams, reviewing drawings and specifications for constructability and compliance

- Contract and commercial administration — progress claims, variations, extensions of time, tender preparation and evaluation

- Being on site — inspections, site meetings, testing, commissioning, and coordinating contractors around live plant and shutdown constraints

- Owning the client relationship — being the reliable, responsive person the client calls

About you

- Degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, environmental)

- 2–5 years' post-graduate experience in project delivery, consultancy, construction or with an asset owner

- You live in Shepparton or the Goulburn Valley, or you're genuinely ready to move here

- Willing and able to travel around the region to sites and client offices, with a current driver's licence

- The ability to work autonomously — plan your own week, make sensible calls, and know when to pick up the phone

- Accountability. You own your commitments, including the awkward ones

- A hunger to learn and a positive attitude, a must

- Clear writing and confident conversation — reports, minutes, contract letters, client meetings

- Right to work in Australia; White Card (or willing to get one)





- Preferred: Water and wastewater experience — treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, sewer networks, storage or recycled water
