The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing accurate fabrication, machining and installation drawings for our experienced team of fabricators and installers. You will also be required to undertake TIG welding and fabrication work as needed, particularly on specialised and custom projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate fabrication, machining and installation drawings
- Understand site measurements and turn them into accurate fabrication drawings
- Undertake TIG welding and fabrication work as needed, particularly on specialised and custom projects
- Work on projects including aluminium and glass fencing, frameless and custom glass balustrades, aluminium balustrades and handrails, gates and screens, and custom architectural aluminium features
About you
- Previous experience in the aluminium and glass fencing, gate and balustrade industry
- Solid drafting experience for fabrication and installation
- Aluminium fabrication and TIG welding experience
- Experience with glass, aluminium and sheet metal work
- Strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills, particularly with custom projects
- Good time management and ability to manage priorities
- A positive, friendly attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- A current Australian driver's licence
