Swansea Hotel is a large, family-friendly venue on Lake Macquarie that has just completed a major refurbishment and extension. With multiple bars, a restaurant, outdoor areas, TAB and gaming, it's a busy and varied operation, and we're looking for a motivated Supervisor / Duty Manager to join the team for the long term.
About the role
Working alongside the management team, you'll help lead the day-to-day running of the hotel: opening and closing, floor supervision across bars and gaming, supporting and training staff, and making sure every customer has a great experience. There's a strong team in place and a solid support network behind you as part of a family-owned hotel group, so this is a genuine prospect for someone who wants to build a career in hotel management.
About you
- Hospitality experience, ideally in a hotel or pub environment
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train staff
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Good food and beverage knowledge
- Attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and grow with the business
- Current RSA, RCG and ARCG certificates
