Launceston Holiday Park in Legana is looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team for an immediate start.
This is a live-in casual position suited to someone who already has housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience and can confidently work to a high standard.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning and preparing cabins between guest stays
- Changing linen and making beds
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
- Restocking guest supplies
- Ensuring cabins are clean and properly presented before guest arrival
- Reporting maintenance issues or damage
- Assisting with laundry and general cleaning duties
- Helping maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the park
Hours
The position is approximately 18 hours per week.
Hours may vary depending on occupancy and operational requirements, with additional hours potentially available during busy periods.
Weekend and public holiday availability may be required.
In office Accommodation
On-site accommodation is available for $300 per week in a shared three-bedroom house located at the holiday park.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have previous housekeeping, hotel, motel, holiday park or commercial cleaning experience
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, honest and punctual
- Be able to work independently and efficiently
- Be confident making beds and preparing accommodation to guest-ready standard
- Take pride in maintaining a high level of cleanliness
- Be flexible with availability
- Be available to start immediately
Previous experience is essential for this position.
