About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to join our team at our Greenock SA location on a full-time basis. As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of Barossa 4x4 and Outdoors, delivering outstanding customer service whilst driving sales and building long-term relationships with our clients. This is a key role that directly impacts our business success and customer satisfaction. You will work in a energetic retail environment, assisting customers with product selection, providing expert advice, and achieving sales targets through consultative and genuine customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and questioning techniques

- Provide expert product knowledge and recommendations for four-wheel-drive vehicles, outdoor equipment, and accessories

- Provide detailed quotes to customers

- Guide customers through the sales process, addressing concerns and objections professionally

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems

- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and performance metrics

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals

- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming retail environment

- Stay up to date with product ranges, pricing, and promotional offers





- Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent service standards

- Handle customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach

What we're looking for

- Proven sales experience in a retail or consultative sales environment, preferably in automotive, outdoor, or specialist retail sectors

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust quickly

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- A passion for four-wheel-drive vehicles and outdoor activities (or willingness to develop this knowledge)

- Ability to work towards and exceed sales targets consistently

- Self-motivated and results-driven approach to work

- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and a high level of computer skills

- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

- Team player mentality with a positive and collaborative attitude

- Experience in the outdoor or automotive industry would be advantageous
