About the role

Gentle Care Smiles is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our practice. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care to our patients in Vermont, VIC and surrounding suburbs.

As a Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dental treatments whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient preferences

- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy and cosmetic treatments

- Provide preventative dental care and patient education on oral hygiene and maintenance

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements

- Collaborate effectively with dental assistants to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, costs and expected outcomes

- Adhere to all relevant dental and healthcare regulations and infection control protocols

What we're looking for

- Valid registration with the Dental Board of Australia and current practising certificate

- Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia

- Ideally, proven experience as a practising dentist, ideally in a private or mixed practice setting.

- New grads welcome to apply - mentoring and training provided

- Robust clinical skills with proficiency in general dentistry procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff

- Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of care and attention to detail

- Current professional indemnity insurance or ability to obtain coverage

- Knowledge of modern dental practices,



materials and digital technologies

- A commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with dental advancements

- Current CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain
