About Us

Sleep Doctor and Mobility Doctor Echuca is a long-established local business supplying bedding, mobility equipment and assistive technology throughout Echuca and the surrounding region.

Our customers range from people purchasing a new mattress or adjustable bed through to NDIS and aged-care clients requiring mobility and daily-living equipment. We also work closely with occupational therapists, support coordinators, aged-care providers and other healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a confident, personable salesperson to join our team.

The Role

This is a customer-facing sales position covering both our bedding and mobility ranges.

You'll spend your day understanding what customers need, demonstrating products, preparing quotes, following up enquiries and helping customers choose the right solution.

For the right person, previous mobility or healthcare experience is not essential. We can teach you the products. What we need is someone who can communicate, build trust and confidently manage a sale from the initial enquiry through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist customers with bedding, adjustable beds, mobility and assistive-living products

- Demonstrate products and explain their features clearly

- Manage incoming showroom, telephone and email enquiries

- Prepare quotes and follow up prospective customers

- Build strong relationships with customers and local healthcare professionals

- Work with occupational therapists and other referrers to arrange equipment trials

- Maintain strong product knowledge across our ranges





- Process sales and customer orders accurately

- Help maintain a professional, organised showroom

- Work with the broader team to achieve sales and service targets

What We're Looking For

- Strong sales and customer-service ability

- Confident and professional communication skills

- A genuine ability to listen and understand what a customer needs

- Comfortable working with older customers and people with disabilities

- Organised and capable of following enquiries through to completion

- Comfortable using computers, email and basic business systems

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Full Australian driver's licence

- Previous retail, bedding, furniture, healthcare, mobility or equipment sales experience is advantageous but not essential

NDIS Worker Screening and Police Checks will be required due to the nature of our work.

Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with rostered Saturdays, 9:30am–1:00pm.

Our preference is for a full time employee; however, we will consider permanent part-time arrangements for an outstanding applicant.
