Role requirements
Experience in monitoring livestock, including animal health,
ensuring adequacy of feed & water, and implementing stock movements
Experience in secure farm maintenance, and operation of farm machinery/equipment
Sound understanding of farm safety
Ability to work autonomously to complete planned tasks efficiently
Strong knowledge of animal welfare standards and documentation.

Proven experience in livestock farming operations
Practical knowledge of modern farming practices
Ability to work autonomously and implement a plan with attention to detail
Working stock dogs essential and livestock skills to manage large mobs unassisted
Be physically fit and able to fulfill all requirements of the role
Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable to island living.
