Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel - Fund Manager

JS Careers are pleased to be exclusively assisting a leadingfund manager firm seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/ Senior Legal Counsel to join its high performing in-house legal function.

Working closely with the General Counsel and wider legal team, this role offers broad exposure acrossfund formation, regulatory advice and day-to-day commercial workin a quick-paced investment setting.

The role will involve:
Advising on a wide range ofcorporate and commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
Supporting fund formation, structuring and ongoing operations.
Providing advice onfinancial services regulation and compliance
Assisting withproduct and services documentation, governance and company secretarial matters




Managing relationships withexternal legal advisers

About you:
Australian qualified lawyer with6 - 15years’ experience (private practice and/or in-house)
Background ininvestment funds
Strong commercial drafting and negotiation skills
Confident working with senior stakeholders in a high-performance setting
