Financial Controller | Manufacturing | Sydney

We're currently recruiting a Financial Controller prospect with an established manufacturing business, with locations in both Northern Beaches & Western Sydney

This is a hands-on role reporting to the CEO, with a solid connection to the wider Group Finance team. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while partnering with operational management to improve financial performance, controls and reporting.

What's involved?
Lead the day-to-day finance function, including month-end close and management reporting.
Prepare financial analysis, commentary and budget versus actual reporting.
Manage cash flow, working capital, AP, AR and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory and WIP.
Identify financial risks, control weaknesses and process improvement opportunities.




Work closely with the CEO and operations team to support commercial decision-making.
Provide regular financial reporting and insights to the Group CFO and Corporate Finance team.

About you:
CA or CPA fully qualified
Experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager
Strong financial accounting and management reporting experience.
Solid understanding of cash flow, working capital and financial controls.
Advanced Excel skills and robust commercial judgement.
Manufacturing, industrial or inventory accounting experience is highly desirable.
Comfortable working autonomously in a hands-on environment.
