Sleeptime is expanding, and we’re looking for a highly organised Events Coordinator to manage our national trade show schedule, coordinate staff travel, and ensure every event runs smoothly, professionally, and cost‑effectively.
About the role
This position is ideal for someone who thrives on planning, logistics, and precision. You'll oversee end-to-end event coordination — from booking trade shows to arranging travel and accommodation — while maintaining strict attention to detail and actively reducing costs across all event-related activities.
Key responsibilities
Book, schedule, and manage all trade show and event participation
Coordinate staff travel, accommodation, and itineraries
Liaise with event organisers, suppliers, and internal teams
Prepare event documentation, run sheets,
and post-event reports
Manage budgets and negotiate pricing to reduce overall event costs
Ensure all event logistics are delivered accurately and on time
Maintain high attention to detail across bookings, deadlines, and compliance
Support marketing and sales teams with event-related requirements
About you
Proven experience in events coordination, travel management, or logistics
Solid organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy
Confidence negotiating with suppliers to reduce costs
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with booking systems, spreadsheets, and planning tools
