About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team at DGH - based in Townsville.

As a full-time Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates.

What you'll be doing
Preparing detailed cost estimates for site and fabrication SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) work scopes
Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify all required materials, labour, and equipment
Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure estimates are comprehensive
Providing support during the tendering and bidding process
Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator
Trade or tertiary qualification in engineering
Proficient in the use of estimating software and tools




Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in Microsoft office suite Word, Excel and Project
Experience with CAD programs
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High attention to detail and time management
