GTS Freight Management is seeking experienced Interstate MC Drivers to join our team at our Hoppers Crossing depot.
This full time position operates regular interstate services between Melbourne and Sydney. The role includes sleeping in the truck’s sleeper cab and loading and unloading freight.
Key responsibilities Operate interstate services between Melbourne and Sydney Safely load and unload freight Complete vehicle inspections and transport documentation Comply with fatigue-management, road-safety and company requirements Handle freight safely and professionally Maintain clear communication with operations staff Represent GTS Freight professionally when dealing with customers
About you To be successful, you will ideally have:
A current MC driver’s licence Interstate linehaul driving experience A strong understanding of fatigue-management and chain-of-responsibility requirements A protected and responsible driving record The physical ability to undertake loading and unloading duties Valuable communication and time-management skills A reliable, professional and safety-focused approach The ability to spend nights away from home BFM certificate
