Tenkate Plant Hire Pty Ltd is a proudly family-owned business operating a large, modern fleet of earthmoving and heavy transport equipment across Queensland.

We are seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team in a role that combines workshop duties with field service work.

n

This position is suited to a reliable tradesperson who enjoys varied work, problem-solving, and developing advanced skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

About the Role

n

n
Minimum 38 hours per week with overtime available
n
Combination of workshop and site-based field service work
n
Maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown response, and repairs
n

n

Work across a modern fleet including:

n

n
Volvo articulated haulers, water carts, excavators, and loaders
n
Caterpillar dozers
n
Heavy road transport equipment
n

n

About You

n

n




Minimum 2 years' experience working on earthmoving equipment
n
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
n
Experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Current Australian C-Class driver's licence (or higher)
n
HRWL (Forklift, CN) licences — desirable
n
Australian citizen or permanent resident
n
