About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and experienced Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to an NDIS participant. This role focuses on promoting independence, community participation, and assisting with daily living skills in a respectful home environment.
We are specifically looking for a support worker who brings life experience, emotional maturity, a calm demeanor, and solid communication skills to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with daily living tasks, household organization, and meal preparation.
Must have valuable Communication skills.
Must have an experience in dealing with Behaviours and Epilepsy. (Mandatory)
Providing transport and support for community participation, appointments, and social activities.
Delivering skill-building assistance to support the participant’s independence and NDIS goals.
Providing overnight care during scheduled sleepover shifts.
Maintaining transparent, accurate daily case notes and documentation.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must hold or be willing to immediately obtain the following:
Current Australian Driver’s Licence with a reliable, insured vehicle.
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or a valid Working with Vulnerable People/WWVP card).
National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate (Quality, Safety and You).
Infection Control Training certificate.
