We are seeking an experienced and reliable part-time Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our financial operations.

This is an ideal chance for a detail-oriented qualified who enjoys working independently and would love to be part of a creative, welcoming education setting.

Key responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank and credit-card reconciliations
Process payroll, superannuation and employee reimbursements
Maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger
Assist with budgets, cash-flow reporting and month-end processes
Prepare reports and documentation for management and external accountants
Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes

About you

You will ideally have:




Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
Strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, payroll and compliance requirements
Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
A high level of integrity and discretion
Solid communication skills and the ability to work independently
Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualifications
Experience in education or a small-to-medium business would be an advantage.
