Prison Island is an interactive adventure experience made up of 39 challenge cells, where teams work together to complete physical, mental and skill-based challenges and earn as many points as possible.

We’re looking for team members who are confident with people, bring good energy to work and can help create a fun and memorable experience for every group that walks through our doors.

About the role

As a Prison Island Team Member, you’ll be involved in all areas of the day-to-day running of the venue. Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming guests and explaining how Prison Island works
Checking groups in and getting them ready for their session
Delivering energetic and engaging game briefings
Helping guests throughout their experience when needed
Monitoring the challenge areas and ensuring guests are playing safely
Resetting and checking cells between sessions
Serving drinks and snacks from the bar
Processing bookings and payments
Keeping the venue clean, organised and ready for guests
Assisting with parties, group bookings and events
Helping create a fun,



welcoming atmosphere in the venue

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
Is friendly, confident and comfortable talking to different groups of people
Has outstanding customer service skills
Is reliable and works well as part of a team
Can take initiative and stay productive during quieter periods
Is comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment
Is available Friday and Saturday nights
Has availability during weekends and school holidays
Is comfortable working late shifts, with some shifts finishing around 11:30pm

Previous hospitality, entertainment or customer service experience is outstanding, but the right attitude and personality are more significant to us.

Requirements
Current RSA
Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one
First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
Availability across weekends, evenings and school holiday periods

Pay: $32.60 – $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
