Fitzroy River Lodge, is a leading hospitality provider situated along the iconic Excellent Nothern Highway in the Kimberely region of Western Australia. We are actively seeking for 4 Cooks to work with us. This role is available for a four year period, commencing in December 2026. The hourly rate will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (MA000009), Level 2. The position operates on a seven-day rotating roster, which may include weekend shifts. List of Duties
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Cook food in various utensils or grillers
Ensure outstanding presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Check quality of ingredients
Requirements of the role
Commitment to following established procedures and health and safety practices
Guaranteed commitment to shift times; being versatile and punctual
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Very good communication skills
