The primary responsibility of this position is delivering orders to customers across Sydney in a refrigerated delivery vehicle. During quieter delivery periods, you will also assist the production team in the factory with general food production, packing and warehouse duties. This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys driving but is also adaptable and willing to work in a hands-on factory workplace.
Key responsibilities
Deliver chilled and frozen products to restaurants across Sydney
Load and unload customer orders
Check invoices and ensure the correct products are delivered to each customer
Maintain an organised and clean delivery vehicle
Assist with packing and vacuum sealing products
Label, box and organise finished products
Move cartons and products within the factory
Assist with general production and warehouse duties when required
Maintain a clean and hygienic food production environment
Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
About you
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Comfortable driving around Sydney and making multiple deliveries
Friendly and professional when dealing with restaurant customers
Physically capable of loading, unloading and moving cartons (6 to 20KG)
Comfortable working in chilled and refrigerated environments
Willing to help in the factory when deliveries are quiet
Able to follow instructions and work efficiently
Careful and organised when checking orders and invoices
Valuable driving record
Ability to perform manual handling duties
Reliable transport to and from work
