Camco Engineering provides a range of manufacturing & maintenance services to the mining, power generation and oil and gas sectors. We are currently seeking to employ qualified and experienced both CNC and Manual machinists, in all areas of machining for our Canning Vale workshops in Western Australia.
Essential Skills & Responsibilities;
Experience on the following controls: Siemens, FANUC, Mazatrol, Heidenhain and Okuma control systems
Knowledge of CNC programming is mandatory
Vertical borers CNC - Highly desirable
Floor borer manual e.g. Froiep
Horizontal borers CNC, Union, Wotan, Kearns, Nomura, Elgar mill, table type with Fanuc control with basic rotary table
Lathes manual up to 12 metre bed and 2 metre swing
Lathes CNC with Fanuc control with 8, 2 and 3 metre bed e.g. Mazak, Dainich, Okuma, Ikegai
Lathes 5 axis Mazak Integrex with Mazatrol control
Machining centres, vertical and horizontal
Prerequisites;
Year 10 education minimum
Trade certificate in relevant trade
Knowledge of machine shop practices
Minimum of 5 years post-apprenticeship workshop experience
Minimum of 5 years working on manual and CNC machines
