About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring workplace safety, compliance, and continuous improvement by:
Driving compliance with WHS legislation and internal systems (SHEQMS)
Supporting and advising leaders on risk management, incident response, and corrective actions
Conducting audits, inspections, and daily site monitoring
Leading and contributing to risk assessments and safety initiatives
Delivering WHS training across all levels of the business
Supporting contractor and visitor compliance requirements
Assisting with incident investigations (ICAM or similar)
Monitoring, reporting,
and closing out corrective actions
This is a highly visible, site-based role where you'll build robust relationships and influence safe behaviours at all levels.
About You
You're a practical, solutions-focused safety skilled who enjoys being on the ground and working closely with teams.
You'll bring:
Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
Proven experience in a WHS-focused role (ideally 2+ years)
Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management practices
Experience conducting audits, inspections, and investigations
Confidence influencing and coaching stakeholders
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive, hands-on approach to safety
Highly regarded:
Experience in food, meat processing, or manufacturing
ICAM investigation training
Quality auditing qualifications
Contractor management experience
