Boss Energy Ltd is an emerging Australian uranium producer, advancing the Honeymoon Uranium Project in South Australia. Honeymoon is one of Australia’s first in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium operations to move into production in recent years, positioning Boss as a key player in the clean-energy transition.

We are offering a 3-month vacation placement over the university summer break (mid/late November – February). This is an excellent chance for a motivated chemical engineering student to gain first-hand experience in mineral processing, pilot-plant operation, and remote FIFO site work.

Placement details:
Roster: FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off, 12-hour shifts
Duration: ~3 months (Nov–Feb)
Location: Honeymoon Uranium Project, Far North SA
Inclusions: All flights, accommodation, and meals provided while on site

Key Responsibilities:




Daily operation and monitoring of the process plant
Routine sampling and analysis
Troubleshooting operational inefficiencies
Preparing and reporting operational data
Contributing to operational improvements and innovative solutions The student will work alongside site engineers and operators on broader plant and project activities, gaining exposure to real-world challenges in an operational uranium mine.
