Part time Café Assistant – Temporary Christmas Position

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Café Assistant to join our team for a temporary 4-month position over the busy Christmas and summer period.

This role will be approximately 2–3 days per week (15–25 hours), with the possibility of additional shifts throughout the week, particularly during periods of staff leave.

We are a small, hardworking team and pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming workplace. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, honest, friendly and happy to jump in wherever needed.

Our Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Saturday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Sunday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

About You
Previous coffee-making experience preferred
Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience advantageous
Understanding of workplace health and safety
Reliable, honest and hardworking
Friendly, positive and confident dealing with customers




Comfortable working as part of a small team

Tasks & Responsibilities
Serving customers and providing friendly, welcoming service
Preparing coffee and other beverages
Basic food preparation and handling
Processing customer payments
Taking booking calls and entering customer bookings
Maintaining customer profiles
Contacting customers when their vehicles are complete
Communicating with staff in the wash bays
Maintaining a clean and tidy café and customer area
Following cleaning schedules and completing general cleaning duties
