The Opportunity
n
As a Claims Specialist, you will play a key role in the assessment, management and resolution of Life & Health claims, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes while balancing commercial considerations and client service excellence.
n
You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, providing technical expertise and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the claims function.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assess and manage Life & Health claims in accordance with policy and contractual provisions
n
Review medical, financial and occupational information to support claim decisions
n
Liaise with insurers, claimants, medical professionals and advisers to obtain relevant information
n
Provide technical claims guidance and recommendations on complex cases
n
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements
n
Contribute to process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
n
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
n
n
About You
n
n
Minimum 5 years experience within Life Insurance claims
n
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
n
Ability to interpret policy wording and assess complex claims scenarios
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
n
Relevant industry qualifications will be highly regarded
n
