Trade Electrical is seeking an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join our growing electrical wholesale business.

This is a hands-on role across trade counter sales, customer service, quoting, order processing and warehouse support. It would suit someone with electrical wholesale experience who understands electrical products, enjoys helping customers and takes pride in keeping orders and daily operations running smoothly.

As Trade Electrical continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, identify customer and product opportunities, help grow our sales and brand, and have a genuine impact on how the business develops.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Serving trade counter customers and responding to telephone and email enquiries
Providing product advice and recommending suitable alternatives
Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
Building strong relationships with electrical contractors and trade customers
Identifying customer, product and sales opportunities
Providing feedback on customer demand and potential stock requirements
Picking and packing stock
Receiving and putting away deliveries
Maintaining an organised warehouse and trade counter
Liaising with customers,



suppliers and internal teams
Assisting with local deliveries when required
Contributing ideas to improve customer service and day-to-day operations
A genuine interest in helping grow sales, strengthen customer relationships and build the Trade Electrical brand

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous experience in an electrical wholesaler or similar trade-supply environment — essential
Strong electrical product knowledge
Experience in trade counter sales, quoting and order processing
Good communication and customer-service skills
Solid attention to detail and organisation
A proactive approach and willingness to identify opportunities
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
A forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one, preferred but not essential
