Ecowatt Energy is a Brisbane based, vertically integrated LiFePO4 battery manufacturer. We supply 12V, 24V and 48V lithium batteries and off-grid energy storage to consumers, trade partners, OEMs, private businesses and government departments across Australia. The role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow our trade, wholesale and OEM channels. You will win current accounts, get Ecowatt specified into customer builds and systems, and develop long-term partnerships across the 12V, off-grid and energy storage sectors.

Key responsibilities
Identify, approach and win current trade and OEM accounts, including caravan and camper manufacturers, canopy and tray builders, auto electricians, marine and RV installers, off-grid solar installers and system integrators, equipment manufacturers and solar distributors
Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to trade account setup and repeat orders




Work with our technical team to understand customer requirements and scope custom battery solutions
Visit customers on site, deliver product demonstrations and represent Ecowatt at trade shows and industry events
Support and grow existing trade accounts to increase order volume and range uptake
Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and report on pipeline, activity and results
Provide customer and market feedback to inform product development and pricing

About you
Proven B2B sales or business development experience in the 12V, automotive aftermarket, caravan and RV, marine, off-grid solar, electrical wholesale or energy storage industries
An established network of installers, builders or OEMs is highly regarded
Solid understanding of DC electrical systems and lithium batteries
Self-motivated and target-driven, comfortable managing your own territory and schedule
Solid communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Current driver licence and willingness to travel
