Description
We are looking for an organised and practical person who is comfortable working with customers, managing accounts and following up outstanding payments.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be dealing with customers by phone and email, including following up overdue accounts and having conversations about outstanding payments. You’ll also support online and wholesale orders and work closely with our sales and finance teams.
About the role
Manage debtor accounts and collections across our apparel businesses
Contact customers by phone and email regarding outstanding accounts and payments
Process payments, credit and debit notes and account reconciliations
Process current customer account applications and credit checks
Respond to customer account and general customer enquiries
Assist with wholesale orders, returns, exchanges and customer requests
Monitor online orders and help resolve issues as they arise
Maintain accurate customer and account information across our systems
Provide general administrative support to the team
About you
You’ll be organised, reliable and comfortable managing different priorities throughout the day.
We’re looking for someone with:
Previous Accounts Receivable experience
Experience with collections and following up outstanding accounts
Confidence communicating with customers by phone and email
Customer service experience, preferably in retail, wholesale or apparel
Valuable communication skills and attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Excel and general office systems
