The role

AMD Fire Protection has an prospect for an Apprentice Electrician to join their team in a full-time role, working across both residential and commercial clients.

Day to day duties include
Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems.
Assist with installing smoke detectors, heat detectors, speakers, warning systems and associated fire equipment.
Installation of wiring, conduit, smoke and heat detectors, Fire Panels & OWS/Ewis Panels
Assist with fit-out and construction projects, including modifications to existing fire systems.
Assisting qualified Electricians as required

Experience required





We are looking for someone who is reliable, and keen to develop their skills. You will be a practical, hands‑on person with a robust work ethic, clear communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
Currently enrolled in a relevant Electrical TAFE course or apprenticeship program
Hold a current White Card
Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence
Ability to work well and contribute positively within a team workplace
A positive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn and develop your skills
