Experienced Dental Receptionist | Part Time

Part time: 2–3 days per week, including some Saturdays
Location: Sydney

Are you an experienced dental receptionist who takes pride in keeping an appointment book running well, enjoys building relationships with patients and likes being part of a supportive team?

A well-established private dental practice near Hyde Park is looking for a warm, capable and experienced receptionist to join its team on a part-time basis.

This is a long-term chance in a professional but personal practice, with a loyal patient base and an experienced team. The focus is on looking after patients properly rather than high-volume dentistry.

The role

You’ll be someone who can confidently manage an appointment book, communicate well with patients, coordinate with clinicians and keep on top of the many small details that make a practice run smoothly.

Your day-to-day role will include:
Managing appointments, recalls, cancellations and changes to the appointment book




Welcoming patients and handling phone and email enquiries
Coordinating appointments and treatment with patients and clinicians
Processing payments, accounts and health fund claims
Working closely with the reception and clinical teams to keep the day running smoothly

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience (2+ years) in dental reception
Is warm, friendly and confident with patients
Organised, dependable and attentive to detail — takes initiative and follows things through
Remains calm and capable when plans change
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
Comfortable working some Saturdays as part of the roster
