JK's Client specialise in building and repairing custom fire and rescue vehicles from their Ballarat workshop. Its team brings together tradespeople and technical specialists who collaborate across each stage of the vehicle build and fit-out process.
The workshop operates at a steady pace, with a solid focus on quality, safety and teamwork.
The Role
The Administration Officer will support the manufacturing operations working across multiple departments, including reception, purchasing, liaising with suppliers and general administration duties.
Your work will help ensure materials are available when required, reducing the risk of operational delays and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop.
Duties
Create and manage purchase orders and consumables purchasing
Liaise with suppliers and follow up outstanding orders
Process invoices and complete general business administration
Maintain accurate ERP data, records and controlled documents
Support purchasing, operational and site-based administration
Skills & Experience
Solid customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience in a manufacturing or project-based setting
Strong ERP skills, with Epicor experience highly regarded
High attention to detail and accuracy when managing data
Competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and document control systems
Working Hours
The available working arrangements are:
Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, working 10 hours per day; or
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, working 8 hours per day
