NQ Towing and Transport is a family-owned business operating throughout North Queensland. We provide a Towing & Transport truck service to our clients throughout the region.
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our branch in Cairns.
Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs when required
Conduct inspections and promptly rectify identified defects
Ensure vehicles remain secure, reliable and roadworthy vehicles in line with NHVR
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised
Required skills
Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualification
Experience maintaining heavy vehicles
Robust preventative maintenance and fault-finding skills
Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working within a reliable team
