The role is a casual, Medical Receptionist position , available to work shifts across the week (Monday to Friday ) between 8am and 5pm. This role is based at our Mount Isa clinic.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
