Early Childhood Educator (Diploma or Certificate III)

We are seeking a qualified Diploma or Certificate III Educator to join our community-based early childhood service. This position will initially be a leave-cover role for the remainder of 2026, with the potential for extension or a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

Support children's learning and development using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0 and the planning cycle

Participate in nature-based learning and Bush Kinder programs

Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community

Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures

Demonstrate a genuine commitment to child safety, child protection, and continuous quality improvement

Work flexibly within an 8-hour shift rostered between 7:00am and 6:00pm

About you

Diploma or Certificate III Educator qualification (experience highly regarded)

Current employee-cleared NSW Working With Children Check

Transparent National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one

Completion of the Foundations of Child Safety (Geccko Training),



with certificate provided with application

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Competence in using computers and online programming platforms

An interest in nature-based learning and Bush Kinder programs

Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) V2.0 and the planning cycle
