Job Description
Key responsibilities
n
Manage end-to-end international sea and air freight, from booking through to delivery
n
Assist warehouse and dispatch team with coordination of daily domestic and complex project dispatches
n
Manage purchasing of standard and OEM products, ensuring the right products arrive on time and within budget
n
Monitor inventory, replenishment and Min/Max stock levels to maintain product availability
n
Build strong, productive relationships with suppliers, freight providers and transport carriers
n
Negotiate pricing, review freight options and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved service
n
Track lead times and proactively manage supply or delivery risks
n
Work closely with sales, projects, warehouse and procurement to deliver customer and project requirements
n
Resolve logistics, procurement and inventory issues quickly and effectively
n
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the supply chain
n
About you
n
Proven experience in logistics, procurement, purchasing or supply chain
n
Strong purchasing and warehouse experience
n




Demonstrated supplier, vendor and freight management experience
n
Electrical procurement knowledge and a solid understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
n
Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building capability
n
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to perform under pressure
n
A strong commitment to WHS&E;, quality and safe working practices
