YouwilltakeownershipofkeyFinanceoperationswhilepartneringcloselywithseniorstakeholdersacrossthebusiness. Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:

Managingtreasuryoperations,bankreconciliationsandcashforecasting. Managinginvestmentactivities,complianceandportfoliomonitoring. Managingreinsurancecollateralbalancesandreconciliations. Overseeingpremiumdebtors,ageddebtandprovisionsfordoubtfuldebts. Managingbrokercreditchecksandfinancialreconciliations. Reviewingmonth-endjournalsandsupportingfinancialreporting. Overseeingtaxationandregulatoryreturns,includingGST,FBT,PAYGandstampduty. Managingrelationshipswithexternaltaxadvisors,bankingandinvestmentpartners,andotherkeyserviceproviders. ProvidingguidancetoFinanceteammembersandsupportingtheCFOwithspecialprojectsandcontinuousimprovementinitiatives. AboutYou





A bankingorfinancialservicesbackgroundisessential forthisrole.Experiencewithininsurance,bankingoranotherregulatedfinancialservicesenvironmentwillbehighlyregarded. Youwillideallyhave:

CA/CPAqualificationandarelevantdegree. 5+years'experienceinprogressivelyseniorFinanceroles. Strongcommercialaccountingexperience. Exposuretoinsuranceaccounting,reinsurance,investments,claims,reserving,capitalandriskmanagementishighlydesirable. Experienceworkingwithauditors,regulators,taxationbodies,bankingandinvestmentproviders. StrongExcel,analyticalandnumericalskills. Excellentstakeholdermanagementandcommunicationskills. Aproactive,commerciallymindedapproachwithstrongattentiontodetail. BigFourexperiencewillbeviewedfavourably. TheOpportunity
