Job Description

Austest Laboratories is a leading Australian environmental testing facility, providing testing and qualification services for defence, aerospace, rail, automotive, medical and other industries.

We are looking for a well-organised Storeperson to support our engineering team with the smooth movement and storage of customer equipment.

n

This is a practical, hands-on role working 15 hrs per week, across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ideally in the morning.

n

What you'll be doing

n

n
Receiving and unpacking incoming items
n
Recording arrivals and printing labels
n
Storing equipment and maintaining an organised storage area
n
Retrieving items when required by the engineering team
n
Packing and preparing equipment for return transport
n
Coordinating with colleagues, clients and logistics providers
n
Undertaking occasional local deliveries or collections in a company vehicle
n
Assisting with general housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks
n

You will be dependable, practical and comfortable working independently while also being part of a small, supportive team. You will take pride in keeping things organised and ensuring equipment is handled carefully.

To be considered, you will need:

Confidence using basic hand and power tools

A systematic and organised approach

Basic computer skills, including email and printing labels
n
The ability to safely handle and move equipment associated with the roleA friendly, close-knit workplace

A diverse and practical role

The prospect to work independently and take ownership of the storeroom

Exposure to compelling engineering and testing projects across a range of industries
