Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is looking for an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Specialist to join our Technology Operations team.
Adelaide Venue Management(AVM) is South Australia's leading provider of venue management services.
It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide's most iconic venues:Adelaide Convention Centre(ACC),Adelaide Entertainment Centre(AEC), andCoopers Stadium(CS), in addition to functions and events atThe Drive(TD).

In this role, you'll be hands-on delivering high-quality AV experiences across our venues, while providing technical leadership and support to our Technology team.
What you'll be doing
Lead AV teams across Audio, Lighting, Video and/or Rigging
Provide hands-on technical support during events
Troubleshoot complex AV setups and equipment
Coordinate crews to deliver protected, smooth and successful events
Mentor and support other technicians
Work closely with planners, clients, suppliers and internal teams
Complete equipment checks, maintenance and fault reporting
Help improve how we plan and deliver events




Support training and development of team members
What we're looking for
You'll bring:
Strong experience in AV, entertainment or a related technical environment
Advanced technical skills in one or more AV disciplines
Experience leading or supervising a team
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused approach
The ability to work independently and under pressure
Flexibility to workoutside normal business hours, including weekends
Qualifications & licences
Diploma in Technical Servicesor 7 years' experiencein your specialist field
CurrentForklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one
CurrentEWP Licence, or willingness to obtain one
